Cables in petrochemical industries are developed for control, measurement and communication of electrical instrumentation. The extreme and destructive conditions within petrochemical plants such as extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, solvents, gases containing toxic or corrosive components, require high performance specialized cables meeting the International norms (EN and PAS). Moreover, for safety reasons specific compound features are requested to guarantee fire resistance, low emission of toxic gases and low fume opacity.
